Upper body/back exercises using free weights

    Hi all,

I have had to put away my home weights machine due to moving house so am only using my free weights at the mo. I'm looking for advice on back exercises using free weights, especially ones which will replace lat pull downs (front and back)
I'm more at home on a bike than the gym so any help will be appreciated. I'm not really looking for muscle gain but to tone and strengthen my upper body (winter mountain biking takes its toll on the arms, midriff, and back) I'll let the squats and bike sort out my legs.

    Thanks very much...

Lovely, I'll give them a go and see how I get on.

Stick in deadlifts too - when the weight you're using is heavy enough, they hit your traps, mid-back and your spinal erectors very, very hard.
