how much cash would i need

    if i was to move to england,have no rent to pay and no food costs,how much cash would i need to get by,lets say few pints on a saturday,no petrol costs or other bills,travel etc.if i had 700 pounds a week how much realisticly coud i save.

    It depends on how much you spend on your Saturday night drinks and whether you spend any during the week, etc.
    Either way, how is it politically related to the Irish Economy?

    so you reckon bout 100 pound a week would do for bits and bobs throughout the week,that sounds ok,headin over in about two weeks time,finally start getting some cash saved so,thank god,i can not wait to get out of this kip.

    100 quid is fine if you have no bills and so forth, I mean what's really left apart from discretionary / hobbies / drinks / clothes every now and then...

    I think I'd find it reasonable, or set a min target of 500 savings and if you save more one week all well and good.

    £700 a week is a lot more than the average wage in the UK - without rent, bills etc, I'd be surprised if you go over £100 a week expenditure

    ya i no its quite a bit to earn with no bills,i will have to work really long hours on a twelve month contract to hit that amount,will be staying and eating with a relative,doing there extension while im there also,hence no bills.id imagine it will b about 2300 to 2800 per month depending on burn out and what not,also leaving the girlfriend behind so not all rosey,or is it(:.
