SRC G36C Gen 2 mag problem

Ok I got this gun yesterday from MIA and when I put bb's in to the mag it loads them in to the tube in the mag but does not put any tension on the spring when I wind it. All that happens is the wheel on the bottom spins backwards after I let go. I'm going to take it back but does any one know why this might be happening?

Are you putting bb's in to the little trap door and filling it up a you should or are you putting them in the feed nozzle?

theres a little spring inside the mag that catches the wheel and stops it from unwinding.it must be broken or not sitting right? you should be able to hear it clicking as you wind the mag

I'm putting the bb's in the trap door. And there is no click when I wind the mag.
