Hi all,

Ive an odd problem with my 3GS headphone mic. I can listen to music with the headphones no problem, but cant control the volume or voice control with the headphone controls.

The headphones and their controls work fine on my wife's phone. She has an earlier firmware version on her phone than mine.

Does this sound like a hardware or software problem? I figured if the headphones jack or the the socket was faulty, then it wouldnt work at all.. yet I can listen to music on it.

Should I take it back to the shop? It was bought in April.
