Lads i was at a similar event a couple of years ago in Tullamore and found it very beneficial!

So id advise anyone whose interested in rearing game birds to attend if possible, where you will recieve some vital information on game management, and pest controll!!!

Sounds good though I thought Collon was in Co. Louth??:)

You're not far wrong Birdnuts Collon Village is indeed in Louth. Collon Parish however stretches well in to Meath easily by a couple of mile. The townlands of Starinagh and Broomfield would be prime examples of Collon, Co. Meath.

And yes it was fierce awkward after the Leinster final !!:D:D

Definitely not Mallards, this is evening is an eductional resource availble to everyone, Farmers, Land-owners, rural dwellers, hunters, twitchers - absolutely everyone!!!

Other members of Tullyallen Macra and I approached the NARGC to provide speakers for the evening, and outsourced a local sporting garda to speak also. This doesn't mean you have to be a Macra Member or a NARGC member.

Bit far for me I'm afraid. I'd love to go to one closer to Dublin.

I'd like to thank all for coming to the talk on Thursday evening.
Without them it would not have been as much of a success.
Both speakers for the talk and indeed the audience came from far and wide,
Some audience coming from as far away as Tyrone , Portadown and Kildare. This won't be a once off, we've got a waterkeepering/fishing talk coming off soon in March which will be advertised in advance also.
