I really miss the red and black ones. Went up to Enniskillen a while back and got the green ones in Asda but they are obviously for fannys

The north is the only place I've seen them.

Peperami is peperoni for children. Real men only eat giant sausages of the stuff, even despite it sounding gay.

Ive seen both Tescos and Superquinn shops selling these, but only seen the green ones.

Indeed. Rather than eating a bit of an animal you may as well go the whole hog

Saw them in Dunnes the other day, again only green ones.

My local Tesco sell them AFAIK...

.. they still taste like ass.

Be a man and get some tasty beef jerky instead!

You know the couple who own the shop in Father Ted? The ones who are always fighting. They have them there, nearly shot my load when I seen it. Are they open Sundays?

I've seen the same Beef Jerky for sale in Centra and Mace recently..

.. forgot to makes it, and haven't tried it. But sounds nice about now.

Remember it being a tad pricey. It was €1.99 for a bag with what looked like 10 - 12 stamp sized pieces.

South African housemate gave me something they said was the same as beef jerky. Tasted like 3 day old overcooked rashers.

Beef jerky, or biltong at least is pretty nice, but I love spicy food and the black perperami is immense. Between that and the Bombay Badboy pot noodles, they're like the only commericial products I've bought that actually lived up to their 'spicy' decription.

The offerings in this country are terrible. A lot of them are also covered is some kind of sweet tasting chemical that they call bbq flavouring.
I tried out a few different types in the States and they vary wildly, but none are as horrible or as overpriced as the stuff here.

Yeah.. I remember having some from a local store in Calgary in Canada a few years back and it was actually produced locally and it was absolutely delish!
