    Hey there!

Would really appreciate some help here! I'm having trouble with my car (03 Honda Jazz) - it won't start- and it doesn't appear that it's the battery which I thought initially. I rang my insurance company when my car wouldnt start and the guy that came out said that it was probably the starter sticking. Funny cause when he came out it worked.

So it's happened again today and wont start whatsoever.

Does anyone know where I can get one of these either new or reconditioned for a good price? How much should I expect to pay for a new one? North Dublin area.

    Thanks a mil

With the ignition OFF, put the car in gear 1st, fth or reverse and rock the car forward and back - this may free the cogs from the flywheel. Then try to start as normal.
Will it start with a push or tow - ign ON, 2nd gear, release clutch quickly when car moving.
There used to be a place in Rathcoole that recondition starters and alternators. Try a breakers yard also.

Got an Impreza starter motor reconditioned, lasted 2years cost €90.

Wasn't great value. Got another from Subaru specialist cost €50.

quicker and better spec, starting on the button now. Shop around.

Not a big job to change either, just diconnected the battery before you

    start.
