I have a chance to move in to a very big house , the amount of rent is with in the maximum rent level. Does it matter how big the house is and also does it matter how many times you move , I just recently moved into this house.

are you recieving rent allowance at the moment? if you are then i shouldnt see there being a problem if its within the max limits.
you might get asked why you need such a big house. my friend has a child and is renting a 4 bed and was asked why she needed such a big house and she just said it was the only decent one that was avaible within the rent allowance limits at the time she went on viewings so you can just say that and see what they say.
our welfare office is abit of a bit*h so you might not even get asked questions like that, it was asked in a kind of smart ass way!

Thank you , I am recieveing rent allowance atm , the house in question is beautiful and the owner is moving abroad for 2 years , so I approached him about it as I know him and and he has agreed to let it to me for a very good price... which is exactly what im paying now for a cold 2 bedroom apartment.

just remember that running a big house can be more expensive than running an apartment. heating oil in particular.

Noted , cant be any more expensive than the useless storage heaters that are in here , plus it has an open fire which heats the radiators and I just bought a chainsaw :D

    eh yes there is,
you can be refused rent supplement if the accomodation is deemed unsuitable or superflous to your needs. They may take a view you'd suspectible to subletting a room. It depends on each individual CWO.

yes but if he explains the circumstances in which he aquired such a nice house for the money then no CWO in Ireland would refuse him on them grounds, they would be happy for him!!
