    Hello all, not sure if this is the right place to put this, so mods, move this if necessary.

    Anyway, a friend of mine is trying to promote is mechanic business by setting up a raffle type lottery, raffling off a car that he owns. He wants to sell a few hundred tickets at about €10 a go.

    Is their any legal issues involving this? Thanks.

    Yes. He needs to get a permit from the local superintendent. If he is making personal profit from this it is likely to be refused.
