    Hey everyone, there's a jacket I love and I tried it on today and I loved it, I tried it in a 6 and it fits perfect, nice and tight so very very warm, I had a look online and they're half price but they only have size 8, Do you think because the jacket is very fitted that I should just pay the extra and get the size 6? Shop is new look in case any one has experience with the sizes there! Thanks

    Hi, I'm presuming its a winter jacket that your talking about rather than a dress jacket. If i were in your shoes, i'd be thinking about what i would potentially be wearing under the jacket, winters coming in quickly and your bound to be wearing layers and knits and scarves, so if the jacket is already tight its not going to fit over them. Depending on the cut and the fabric, you can always get the size 8 taken in a bit if it feels way too big. I'd go back with a friend (an honest one who will tell you how it really looks) and try both on again before buying.

    Hi Shinikins, It's a dressy cropped jacket, more for wearing going out than every day, I see what you mean though and would probably just be able to wear a thin long sleeve top under it if I decided to wear it more day to day.
    The one in the shop I loved it but there's one on the website in a colour that the shop doesn't have which I think I prefer so that's why I kinda have the dilemma, The perfectly fitting one in the nice colour or one slightly bigger in a colour I love. I'm kicking myself now for not trying the 2 sizes on in the shop!
