    It's a bell tower, I've been here 3 weeks, I've never heard it ring.

    Do it's bells ever chime?

    Rings nightly Monday-Friday at 6:10pm as the call to Commons in the Dining Hall (except during the Summer when its 1:10pm)

    Rings also if a funeral is held in the College chapel, a very very rare occasion, very spooky sound as they muffle the bell.

    The bell you hear is normally that in Dining Hall clock which rings on the hour

    Ah see as soon as it hits the end of the day I scarper off to go back to sleep. That'd explain it. Thanks for the info :D
