As the title says, what is the best alternative to get mails in real time?

    1) Google sync although it works perfectly but kills the battery.
    2) Mail notifier works with bit of delay and good on battery but can't trust them as their server log in to mail accounts.
    3) Currently using Box car +IMAP, works but there is a delay in notification some time.

What are you using and how do you check your mails?
Manual, fetch or push, how many email accounts and how it is on battery?
    Thanks

I installed the Google mobile app, which is free, and is supposed to have push notifications. I haven't had one push notification so far.
