    can anyone post up a pic of the outdoor receiver wimax use??
    landlord needs to see it before he'll allow it to go up

    It's approx 10"x4", not very big so it can be placed pretty discreetly.

    Its about 2 FT high & goes up on the chimney. I have on up - a bit like an aeriel & has a square box on it.

    All the ones I seen are no where near 2 FT high.

    Also I was told they are not allowed to put the above the guttering of the house??

    Christ - now you have we worrying -what are they after putting up on my chimney?????

    All the houses on the road have the same thing up on chimney ( the ones with imagine) It looks like a steel bar bent in half about 1 1/2 to 2ft high.. Ill take a pic tomo when its bright out.

    He just said there that picture is the hub which is up on the chimney but we also have the big hoop-la receiver as well up on the chmney on the roof. ill post pic in the morning

    just about to sign up with imagine wimax. question is am I doing the right thing, currently with gaelic only have about 1.4mb at best.

    Have to say I think they are good. We moved to them during the summer. Speed of just below 5mb at times. Im on the up to 7mb. Phone included . No problems complaints at all.

    Hope you can make out my picture. It looks like an aeriel braced to the chimney with this box thingy on top. Everyone on our road's is the same.

    Do you know how far you are from imagines anthenna?
    ive signed and am awaiting install, i'll be about 1.5miles line of site away from their transmitter
    my current DSL only gets about 1.68mb. do you think its worth the risk changing?
    whats your contention ration...sales girl said id be 4.1 is that true?
    any help is much appreciated
