    Hi All

My sister has bought a 2000 Ibiza 1.Occ.

The fuel gauge needle was in the needle when she bought it but instead of getting empty it is going the opposite direction and is nearly full mark at this stage (despite not adding petrol) :D

    Any idea for a fix?

    Thanks

Start using a syphon pump on it and selling fuel - Its the Golden goose you have, you lucky sucker. The greens will love you, you might have the solution to the global energy shortage - offer to buy it off your sister quick before she cops on. (I'd offer big if I was you)

Scratch an 'F' over the 'E' and vice versa. Seriously, sounds like the fuel sender is fecked.

We could rig up a nodding donkey pump and ramp up production, -I see how small I was thinking now.

:DBeen outside it a fair while Barr. Pull off the dash and reverse the wires to the gauge, or lift the rear seat squab and find the wires going to the sender, and reverse them, go on, ruin my dream!:D

    Thread closed.

Barr, if you want to you can try a new thread and hopefully you won't come across as many comedians.
