    Hi guys,

Was thinking in investing in a pistol, I am wondering witch is a better buy a Co2 gun or a Gas one? What has better pros or cons, Are all Co2 pistols non blow back? What do you think will be best

CO2 is a far superior propellant for Airsoft in Ireland because it is a higher pressure gas, that by nature is colder. This suits our climate better than Green Gas/Propane, due to minimal cool down effects.

Not all CO2 pistols are NBB (Non-Blowback), but there is a lot of them out there. There are a growing number of CO2 GBB's at the moment, and the main variants are 1911 & M9's. I have seen an ACM P226 as well.

Personally speaking, a KJW Co2 M9, or 1911, is what I'd recommend. Extremely good recoil, feels great, looks great, readily available mags, accurate and more than suitable for our climate. Both are versatile guns in terms of loadout, have similar mag capacity etc. so it really comes down to what you prefer.

Hobby Airsoft stock both (KJW M9 & KJW S&W 1911PD), and have a thread in the Retailers section.

how many mags would you get out of a Co2 cartridge?

On blowback? 2, maybe 2 and a half. If it's a warm day you could get 3 at a stretch. That's the draw back of CO2...the expense involved. But, being honest, pull the trigger and you won't regret it. You feel where the money goes, and you're happier paying for it.

What makes you want to get a side arm? Are there any pistols that you're interested in?

I have a rifle already and am hoping to start serchging for a pistol because well, I like them:D(not a great answer). I have an old metal 1911 springer that dont work and it has a nice feel to it, but I think I will go into a shop and see witch one suits me.
