vodafone & hotmail / MMS

    I've used my hotmail account with my iphone since day one. For some reason, it just stopped sending mail. It received mail just fine but if you tried to send anything from a picture to simple text, it would attempt to send and then fail despite no lack of coverage.

    I deleted the account and tried to add it again and now it says "verifying account information" and eventually says "cannot connect using SSL- do you want to set up the account without SSL?". I click yes and it says "SMTP account information failed- The SMTP server 'smtp.live.com' doesn't support authentication. Please check your account settings and try again".

    I'm not too big to declare that this is all gobbledegook to me. Maybe it means I'm dumb...

    Also- why can't I send/ receive MMS?

    So it worked itself out last time (October) but it's at it again. It's not every day I use it to email so I don't really know how often this is going on....

    Anyone have any suggestions?
