    Thinking of bringing a couple of bags to a local forest and filling it up with branches and twigs to put in the fire, the forest is council land and not privately owned, can you get prosecuted?

    Yes you can be prosecuted, and if found guilty, you can face up to tree years in prison.

    I'd leaf it if I was you, special branch have that area under surveillance.
