RTE - Spooks & Spectres

    Anyone watch it?

It had the potential to be great, with a narrator that poked fun at those that were 'spooked', but it kinda fell apart by allowing the nutters i charge of the castle take centre stage with their assertions that "sometimes for seances, we don't even need our hands - the spirits have been known to move it themselves"...

Other than seances, there was a morbidly obese, dowdy woman who believed in psychic abilities (What ARE the chances?!), rattlings doors and shaky camera work. And men whose profession it was to be ghost surveillance. So in that respect it was good craic to laugh at, albeit a little unoriginal.

And while I'm sure it was harmless fun, I really don't wan't to have to sit through the conversations in work with the idiots who think that Chantelle & Pete might actually, really be in love...

I caught the last 10 minutes or so. They didn't seem to have included any genuinely skeptical people in the group. They all seemed to be already believers in the paranormal or people looking to confirm their belief. Or maybe it was just edited to look that way.

Saw a bit of it. My first thought was that it will have the Christians on the (radio) warpath for promoting witchcraft!

    What a crock!
I went to bed early last night as I got f all sleep the night before from being sick. I turned on the tv as I was getting into bed and this show started and ended up watching it all. It is beyond me how anyone could take that "medium" seriously, she was talking nonsense, "as x was leaving the room I could see the spirit on his back smiling at me so I had to go after him".

    I call shenanagans.
