TV3 and the relays.

    Could viewers in the West who have to pay Sky to watch TV3, e.g. GAA fans, take legal action to force TV3 to pay to provide coverage on the relay transmitters?

    It's moot as any legal action would still be running when Analogue is turned off.

    Yes, TV3 are "technically" in breach of licence. Their excuse is that they are negotiating price with RTE NL.

    So... Yes you could.

    But it would be great waste of money.

    You can sue who you like, the real question is - can you win.

    Do you sue TV3 or BAI or COMREG?

    If you do, can you show a cause? For example, could you sue a film disributor for not having the local cinema show a particular film?

    You would have to admit publically to having actually watched some of the TV3 programmes. Could you hold your head up in polite society, and would you not die of the shame?:D
