    .

Heard on liveline with Joe Duffy yesterday there is a serious amount of robberies in that area.

I sincerley hope you get you gear back. I cant imagine what its like for that to happen to anyone. Hopefully it will surface and get back to you soon.

You should email all the colleges that provide courses in Photography; wouldn't like to see son young student end up with stolen gear and good to make them aware of the dangers out there in the real world.

Having stuff stolen is a balls ...
2 years ago I had a 400D and a couple of lenses (and an Athlone Town FC jacket!) stolen from my car ... parked in my driveway ... on Christmas night!

Hi PC photo. The break in was in Templeogue.

I'm extremely lucky. I found my camera sitting in behind the computer. I forgot I left it there and the robbers never saw it. I am so relieved it's unreal

Its a recession and there are scum all over the country carrying out robberies.

Its a horrible thing to happen to anyone.

Get an alarm and making sure you have adequate insurance will limit the pain of it all.

I saw that, but surely if it's stolen they wouldn't have all the docs and receipts?

And I would be surprised that they would have the shutter count too. There are often suspiciously low priced goods on gumtree that are advertised as new/ nearly new. Could it be some sort of scam where there is no actual item.?

I'd say that's more likely. Pics are too good to have been taken by some randomer looking to offload stolen gear quickly.
