    Hi

I have been asked to do a critical reveiw on zero carbon homes with particular reference to the uk 2016 deadline. I was wondering if anyone had any material or ideas where I could look for info. Cheers

Well, the official details are at http://www.zerocarbonhub.org/ . Ideas? For starters, what exactly do they mean by "zero carbon"? Do they mean carbon-neutral in construction, or when in use, or both? There's a lot of literature on the "PassivHaus" (Germany) and Zero Energy Buildings (USA), if it's about the house. Or, can you meet the requirement by offsets e.g. buying credits or planting trees? ;)

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.
