Even the thought of it makes me want to vote FF:eek:

Is there a point to this thread ? I mean, has anyone actually proposed this pairing ?

Because it comes across as yet another "I wouldn't have considered voting FF, honest*, but let's pretend that Labour will be objectionable so as to undermine their vote".

    * as measured against the benchmark of recent Taoisigh

Was listening to the Eamon Gilmore on da radio resently talking about the lack of financial inforamtion been given to labour, F.G. and Sin Fein...

Fact that he mentioned them as a legitimate party, scared me shi:eek:less

    "da radio"........I don't have kids, so I haven't tuned into that ;)

As for Sinn Féin, I think we have similar views about their legitimacy, but what would scare me ****less is that you'd consider voting FF.

I actually thought that it was Labour bashing in an attempt to scare people into voting FF.

Maybe we're both right....so far I'd say I'm in the lead though.

They are a legitimate party even if I wouldn't give them any preference, what right have Labour to not acknowledge them as a party in the state?

Doesn't mean they'd go into coalition with them anyway. Its one statement :pac:

After listening to a lot of folk, I kinda wondered what people would do to get FF out and would that include letting SF in...

FG seem really lame at mo, would love to see the end of kenny, but it leaves the question of what alternative do we really have

    Kenny as taoiseach...
    Joan Burton Finance:eek:

It'd knock the country back about 30 years

Would love to see a Lenihan/Richard B combo

    If truth be told

So you object to Joan Burton but you support Lenihan, who has himself set the country back at least 30 years ?

The tone of your posts suggest FFail as the obvious choice in an election and you're just polling for a query of a whacky alternative just for larks.

Be straight about it and say as much i.e. FFail are the best option in your view and then go on to slate the other parties. It's more honest and less of an FFail tactic, by that I mean sly.

+1 - not to mention the fact that if FF were in a position where SF support would get them back into power, they'd jump at it in a heartbeat.

After looking into the matter for quite some time I would say they could only continue us on the same path, worse case scenario.

At this stage, the EU is holding us by the hand to make sure we don't do anything financially suicidal as it will have major knock on effects for the Euro area.

So there is little risk in removing FF at this stage except that it might prevent that party being annihilated out of existence in the future for their sins in the past.

Ironically enough if Jim Allister's TUV take seats or cause the UUP to gain seats he could be the very reason McGuinness gets it.

Anyway it is literally only a word.

    He's already joint first minister
