    Great win today and my thought immediately turn to illinois 2012 and the next European captaincy.

    My bad!

    Monty has apparently said he doesn't want to do it again so that's out.

    I'd change my vote to Olazabal.

    Although I'm hopeful that an Irishman will get the job for Gleneagles 2014. Clarke most likely.

    If I remember correctly this has already been decided. Monty jump the queue last time as he was pencil in for Gleneagles.

    I think its meant to be Olazabal.

    It should not be possible to be captain more than once. The next captain should be and will be (IMO) Olazabal.

    It should be Olazabal for captain it just means Padraig wont get a wildcard if he doesn't make the team.

    In all fairness, if Harry is still as ****e as this for another 2 years, coupled with his pretty unimpressive Ryder Cup record overall, I don't think 'will Harrington get a wild card' is even a question that anyone will ask.
