    Lads ,

Not being smart , but I'm just passing on the info as I received it cos I thought some might be interested . Give them a buzz if you've any questions about availability or tee times. They had 2 slots at that price for the Glen on Friday , but I don't know much more than that. Hope that helps

I rang them today and was told the offer doesn't start until the 25th October. Had been hoping to play next Thursday & Friday (14th & 15th) but the girl said the deal isn't available. So lucky you, for getting it.

The November deal is very good @ 85 euro

Yeah , was surprised myself cos I knew the winter rates didn't kick in till later in Oct. I asked her to confirm 3 times . I'll post here if there's any issues :)

Turns out she had made a mistake and given us the wrong deal. However the guy in the shop said as it was their mistake they would honor it , despite me only having verbal confirmation. So fair play to them.

Course as always was in great condition .despite heavy rain on Thursday , ball was still travelling on fairways and greens were good condition.

Love to play although i probably would have problem getting a 4ball, maybe one or two mate. If anybody got an empty slot in a 4ball, i wouldn't mind playing!:):)

    Just and FYI

I rang up about it today and was told that they are no longer running that offer! I asked why and was told that "Up stairs made the decision to close the offer" what ever that means. So looks like we wont be playing druids for cheep!

    Regards
    Ian

yeah, the girl(who's always quite sharp on the phone)asked me to bring the e-mailed offer,if they turn me away i'll be straight down onto the first tee,

on another note that offer druids are doing(€2600)includes weekday playing rights in Adare manor aswell as the Heath, that's some deal,if i had the cash i'd be all over that, the members could arrange a couple of outings to Adare during the year

I can let you know monday. Just going too turn up and have a row if needs be!!!!! I'm confident they will. Havent told any of the lads though! Its nearly a two hour drive for us.

Anyway, worst case scenario_ not going too pay full price, anyone recommend anywhere nearby or heading south (coast road or carlow direction) under the 30E price bracket. I've heard a nice report about baltinglass!!???

You have a choice of a few better than Baltinglass. Try one of Southcounty, Tulfarris or Rathsallagh if Druids don't honour it.

Lads Druids to South County/Tulfarris/Rathsallagh/Baltinglass is like a 50min-1hr20min drive depending on traffic. If you want a nice course I'd try either Wicklow (bout 15min further south), Blainerow (bout 30min further south) or MacReddin (bout 45min further south).

Definitely. We had 2 four balls booked in last Sunday. We were asked when did we book and where did we see the offer. Told them the truth and it was no problem. 220 for 8 people on the Glen. Greens were forked a few weeks ago and were nearly perfect last Sunday. They should be as good as anywhere for this time of year now.

Thanks Silver-tiger, how did you manage too get the offer on the weekend. Thought it was just mid-week?

I don't think the left hand knows what the right hand is doing there when it comes to these offers.

My mates and I got a 4ball for €110 and our tee time is this Sunday. Their mistake and to be fair to them and to their credit (and ours :)) they are going to honour it. I told the lad who organised it to call up to double check as it was booked before any confusion arose or before any withdrawal of the offer happened.

They confirmed that the offer was supposed to be Mon-Thurs but will honour it. Happy Days! :D

No prob with the offer either, Bargain!!!! Fantastic course. Had too wait on every tee and it took over 5 hours too play but this was one course i was happy too stand around and take it all in.
