Sofa repair in Dublin?

    Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right forum to post this... basically my folks have had this lovely valor sofa since 1993. In the last few months though, you end up sinking practically to the floor when you sit down. The springs have gone in the middle, and I think some of the supporting wood has broken as well. They don't want to get rid of it, and I'm trying to help out by finding someone good in the Dublin area to repair it.

I don't reckon it would be a massive job, and cheaper than a new couch (besides, its the couch of my childhood, I refuse to countenance its demise!). Can anyone advise me? Cheers

That would be helpful, thanks. I'd need info on what kind of service they offer if possible also....

A former neighbour of mine has an upholstery and refurbishment firm. They do exactly what you are looking for. They are called Royal Upholstery and are in Kilbarrack Ind Estate. Found these links ...

They used to be in Donaghmede but are in Kilbarrack now ...

Can't personally testify to how good they are but they have been going since I was a nipper and that was a long time ago :-) I believe they are very good.
