Zombie film

    Howya folks. There was talk last term of a zombie film being made on campus by FilmSoc. Did this ever get off the ground?

    It Did indeed. We shot it over the easter mid-term and it is currently in post-production(or at least will be when xios off here gets his finger out)
    We hope to have a Trailer together and up on youtube for halloween with the premier before semesters end

    Nay,
    Not enough footage to make a movie, and any footage we do have is of 'questionable' quality.

    I beg to differ, amybe if you let someone else see the fotage instead of working on it alone, it could be made.

    Nothing "Questionable" about the quality of the footage. The quality issues are with the sound because the Boom wasn't configured (now who was s'possed to be doing that?)

    The film could be made but would need to be like 10 -15 min and everyone would need to be called back in to dub every line. The audio was extremely bad lost of background noise and very faint voices.

    My band has a song, Fall, the lyrics of which could be applied to a zombie apocalypse scenario. Maybe the people behind the film would be interested in making a music video from the footage? It wouldn't matter about poor sound quality in that case, plus the footage would be getting some use out of it.

    Great Idea. Wouldn't have a clue how to do it myself but as writer and director you've my permission to take the footage and use it. Xios (ciaran) has the raw footage

    Xios has just sent me a PM, so I'll make arrangements with him.

    By the way, if anyone else here is interested in helping with, or taking on, this music video please send me a message. I have no skills in this area myself, so any help would be very welcome.
