08 corolla temperature dial issue

Just bought an 08 corolla saloon, petrol. When I turn the temperature dial knob, it only turns half way to luke warm i.e. I cannot get it to turn up to hot. It just stops .... it's a circular knob that starts at 7 o'clock(cold) & won't go past 12 o clock (luke warm), where by hot is 5 o' clock. Need to get it fixed before the frosty mornings!
    Anyone else having this problem?

Did you try twist it to the left to see if it'll go past 7 o clock. Also, Toyota might still cover than under warranty. Ring your local dealer and find out.

3 year warranty, so if the car has under 100k on it it should be covered. It's cable operated so my money is on a handsfree phone installation gone wrong causing it. In this case a dealer won't have to cover it but they'll have a look anyhow

    Thanks for advice folks.

    Tried everything - won't work.
It's has 120km on clock so no warranty.
There is a Nokia hands free system on dash board.
Is it easy to rectify this problem?
