Does anyone know if these are available from newsagents etc. selling DB tickets? Or do you need to get them from O'Connell St or an Irish Rail station? I'd prefer the smart card type that Dublin Bus do, but it would seem that the ticket office is now closed and I need one tomorrow.

Think you have to go to a train station to get them.

I used to get these in the student union shop on campus(TCD).

Need one for October, Ticketmaster only offering Nov 2011 now due to the 7 day delivery delay.
    Thanks

For what is worth the tickets can be got in any railway station, however it seems its cash only, no laser or cc, at least in the smaller stations

The student travel card number is incorporated in the ticket so its required at time of purchase
