Thinking of upgrading the tractor, current tractor has a self levelling loader, the one I'm looking at trading up to has a loader but its not self levelling - whats the general feeling about self levelling - is it worth the extra money and weight due to the extra metal?

Personally I wouldn't buy a loader without self-levelling, once you're used to it you'd certainly miss it

Self levelling is the only way to go , no need to stop lifting and level the fork every couple of feet up also less possibility of the forkfull being dumped over the top and onto the bonnet

During the summer I wished I'd a self-levelling loader. I managed to load/unload nearly 400 bales of silage without hassle. The old lad got up to do a few when I was having dinner, and I came back to see a bale sitting on the cab of the tractor :(

IMHO when upgrading a loader, there are some items you should not do without:
    1. Self Levelling
    2. Multidock
    3. Softdrive
    4. Euro Quick Hitches
