Are you looking for a perticular part or the complete trigger box assembly

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,551 ✭✭✭swiftblade

Just the actual hammer piece that hits the magazine valve :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,752 ✭✭✭DeBurca

Do you mean the valve knocker

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,551 ✭✭✭swiftblade

Nope. The part that strikes the magazine. Its square. I would take a pic but mine is in pieces

The valve knocker is the part that strikes the valve in the back of the mag
I think you mean the hammer the part that is cocker by the rearward motion of the slide
When you pull the trigger you release the hammer which propels the valve knocker forward which strikes the gas release valve in the mag

EDIT 78 that the part I mean the valve knocker, you asked for a Mauri part and that is what WGC show

Sorry my bad. Yup you have it spot on. :o.

That part you linked too is what i need. It's a bit pricey :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,752 ✭✭✭DeBurca

i could do with one myself but think it is too pricey for such a small part
I have been looking for one a while now and that is the only one that I have found across many sites

I don't know about other manufacturers, but you can contact KJW directly for specific parts, and they are VERY cheap compared with retail.

Maybe try and contact Marui/Army directly?

Have a mates KSC(IIRC) around with the same part in pieces. Actually, thinking about it it might be KJ(I love KJ). Must see if I cant get him a spare, as much as I hate glocks it performed well before it broke down.

If it is a KSC it will not fit but a KJ Works should be OK
Mauri glock mags fit my sons KJ Works glock 32c

AFAIK KJW/TM/Army parts are all interchangeable :)

So it's any of them im on the look out for

I couldn't see a glock listed on KJW's website

http://www.kjworks.com.tw/ have a look for yourselves, and contact them to see if they're able to sort you out. They took a while to reply to me (2 - 3 days) but I was given a price quote and shipping quote, so good efficient service :)

    Thanks Steve ;)

Hey DeBurca, could you give me some tips on getting the whole trigger mech back together? It's driving me bananas

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,752 ✭✭✭DeBurca

Its been awhile since I was last at my glock
It was not to awkard a job if memory serves me right
Will get stuck in again when the part arrives from AirsoftEire and get back to you on it

I have it all back together but the vlave knocker moves about freely. If you get it back together could fire up a few pics? Would be much appreciated :)

Edit: Does this look right. It looks all good to me but the dam valve knocker moves about when cocked and dosent stay back. When it should be back ready to strike the valve it just flops forward. Deffiently not right. Hard to explain.
