Mind asking, what do you want them for?
250 Kg is light for this time of year, if you want to breed from them. Maybe better to get growthier ones.

They're as scarce as hen's teeth around here in the North West. Any oone that comes up is usually well saught after and it takes a deep pocket to get her. I believe there's a better selection of them in the Midlands. The last time I was in Tullamore Mart, there was noticably more of them than in the marts around us.

I get texts all the time from the Limousin Soc about people looking to buy cows/heifers/bullocks etc. Maybe you could contact the Simmental Society to see if they could contact their members. Societies love doing things like that cause it makes them look good that people are interested in them.

I have a few 18 month Simm heifers that i'm breeding as replacements. They're out of my best cows, red limousins. They're was a lot of work even to get them to this pt, and I dont know if they'll go in calf yet.
You'd want to be breeding 40% of your cows to cover replacements. When you consider that weanling Simm bulls dont sell as well as or Continental breeds, you can really see where the cost is.

I often wonder if it would be worth going 100% simmental. But I'd say it would be better to sell all cattle at 18 months, the males as growthy stores and the heifers as in-calf.

They make great cows, that cross well with BB and Ch.They have that extra milk to pump into the calf. One thing about them I find is there a bit susceptible to grass tetnay around this time of the year especially if they've got a calf as big as themselves sucking them!

Might seem so on paper but repeat buyers every year and the quality is exceptional.
Red and white simmentals scarce enough so to get over 200 in the one mart gives a great choice.
