    HI
    A few friends and I are talking about opening a fitness studio - where do we start?
    Do we find a premises? Write up a business plan? etc., just not sure what to do first - any advice?

    Business plan first off. then you will build your questions from there. ;-)

    As tombull already stated business plan first as this will raise a number of questions for you to investigate.


    but to help ye out;
    What's your catchment area; do you intend on setting up in an area that has
    a) predominantly high unemployed b) young professionals/students c) seniors
    Finance - how do you intend on funding this venture
    Insurance costs
    competition (how many other fitness studios/gyms are in the area)
