Best/easiest European aviation museum to get to?

I've never been to a proper aviation museum and really, really want to go to one this year or early next year. Problem is I don't drive (provisional licence doesn't work in Europe), so public transport to and from an airport in Europe is a must. I prefer fighters etc, but anything will do. It'd be nice to get quite close to the exhibits. It'll probably be a one-day trip.

    Any ideas?

Fly into Paris CDG and take the RER train or bus to Le Bourget's Air and Space Museum.

Le Bourget is well worth it

Plenty of European military jets, mostly French and Eastern Block.

Though the 2 Concorde's are what most will want to see and you are allowed onboard both. Its quite an experience to walk into the hanger and look up at the two Concorde's

    They also have DC8, 727, 747, Caravelle, A319

The Musee Royale de l'Armée in the centre of Brussels is easy to do by public transport from the airport there. Though a bit cramped, it has a large range of aircraft exhibits, dating from WW1 up to modern times.

I don't know how well it's served by public transport but Duxford in the UK is pretty impressive!

I don't drive either, but have made it to Duxford. Train to Cambridge and then there is a bus from just outside the station to Duxford.

Also RAF Museum in Hendon N. London is well worth a visit. Get to London, Tube to Collinsdale Station (northern line) (NOT HENDON CENTRAL). Come out the station and follow the signs. It's about a 10-15 min walk.

There is also the Brooklands Museum, not as big, but a lot of very rare stuff. Train to Weybridge (Surry), from London Waterloo station. Come out of the station up the approach road turn right and its about a 15-20min walk.

Or you can visit East Fortune alas Scottish National Museum of Flight while in Edinburgh.
Take a bus to East Linton, get accomodation in the Crown Inn and take a cab or bus to East Fortune.
Very good stuff in there too: http://www.nms.ac.uk/our_museums/museum_of_flight.aspx

Or you can fly to Prague and pop into Kbely museum - bit tricky to get there using their public transport, but not impossible: http://www.vhu.cz/en/stranka/letecke-muzeum/
