    These ones

They keep selling them everywhere in Dublin. Obviously for the reason that no-one will buy them.

I just want a standard jumper! Is that too hard to ask?

oh, you mean the really cosy ones i live in at the moment?

By standard jumper i presume you mean a crew or v-neck? there's piles of them around in dunnes, penneys, tk maxx...

Yeah but the ones which close up to about your stomach instead of your neck...those cardigans are rank!

Otherwise, yes I mean crews and v-tops. The ones in the stores you mentioned are terrible quality. They normally lag around the waist instead of fit properly.

Massimo Dutti generally have a selection of plain sweaters - don't know about the menswear but the ladies' knitwear is great quality. As do Zara. There's always the men's depts in HoF/Arnotts/BT - you should be able to find something that's not too 'old man'.

The problem with shopping in fashion stores on the high street is that they stock what is in fashion.
