Broken iphone 3g

The girlfriend dropped her iphone 3g and it took fair whack to the ground. The screen is now all vertical lines with a white background. The phone is been recognised in itunes. Just after powering up phone, tried ringing it and it connected. Is it repairable? Thanks.

Yep, no problem to repair. Had mine done twice! Compuworld in Dun Laoghaire does them.
