    Hi All,

Im looking for a decent quality diagnostic scanner for a 2003 Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.0 Diesel. Its got the PSA diesel engine in it. Anyone any recommendations on what diagnostic scanner to purchase. I just want to be able to view and clear codes anything else would be a bonus.

Said I would update this....managed to get hold of a scanner to scan and clear codes on the Suzuki. Bought a Elmscan 327 off amazon (40euro :D) and downloaded a copy of scanxl from the interweb as the software included with the driver disk for the hardware looked to have been developed by a 5 year old.
Extremely basic would have been an understatement.

The scanxl software had a generic ODB2 decoder and on certain cars it looks to have advanced diagnostic features particularly american cars from first glance. On the suzuki it could read in real-time RPM, Oxygen sensor parameters and other bits and pieces.

From the software own site. I havent thoroughly played with it but you can add many different parameters if you so wish to monitor.
