Lack Of Focus : That's What's Wrong

People (on boards, in the media, politicians, people in the street) say they want this/that/the other, to be done, to remedy our current difficulties.

There seems to be a lack of focus.

Who can get us (Ireland) to focus. Our politicans don't seem to be able to.

Our present situation reminds me of the aftermath of Lisbon I referendum.

The result was in the negative.

The government decided to find out what people were miffed about, seek changes to suit the dissatisfaction and run the thing again.

There was a lack of understanding as to why people voted against the treaty.
The groups who advocated a 'no' vote were a disparate lot, totally at odds with other, from Libertas to Coir, to Sinn Fein.

You couldn't dream up more unlikey bedfellows.

So, how do we focus, who/what can provide focus.
