    where can I pick some up as my estate in letterkenny doesn't get any gritting done and we cant get out every winter!! does the council supply it?

    They do leave supplies of salt/grit at the entrances to some estates but Id suggest you ring the local town council to see what their policy is.

    i think they leave grit at the bottom of every estate nowadays..
