shouldnt be a problem, they often ask what do u do, they dont actually ask if u are working now!

They are unlikely to ask if you have a return ticket and are only staying a couple of weeks. They are more likely to ask what you plan to do in the USA (ie see grand canyon, gambling etc), where you will stay and possibly how you will support yourself (ie how much cash and what creidt cards you are bringing).
