    Hi All,
Thinking of reroofing our current 5 bay lean to shed. I'm planning on taking the current corragated sheeting off and replacing with new. What would be the rough current price.
Also tinking of spraying the inside when done with oil to help protect it any ideas on a better way to do this or any ideas that others use to prolong the life of the shed?
    Thanks in advance.

use the agri sheet or corrigalv or whatever they call it, its the colored sheeting you see on most of the new slatted houses, the plain old galvanise you get now is like paper so not worth putting that in, my leanto has 2 lengths of 12 ft sheeting at 2 1/2ft wide each would mean you would need 17-18 sheets per bay which i think would cost you about 550-600 euro..
just going on my own hayshed which i think is about 18ft per column but your shed might be totaly different

What about the Cement Fibre sheeting, for example 'Profile 6R' from Tegral?
I had a look at it at the ploughing, as I will be building a shed soon too. It looks like the old asbestos sheeting. As far as I know, there is no metal in it so it can't rust. It's also guaranteed for 30 Years. It's also quiter too when the rain falls on it.

    Anybody use it?

I put it on my slatted shed. Great job. Never ever see condensation on the inside. Very quiet in hail or heavy rain. Lot tougher than you think. You could litterly jump up and down on it without breaking it or damaging it.

ya we have it on a slatted shed, will last forever id say, I wouldnt recommend jumping up and down on it though ;)
a canopy piece bew off there a few years ago andhit another sheet on the way down and cracked it, had a fierce job to fit a new sheet in again, so id say its dear day one and probably more difficult to fit, you cant just go bashing a nail into it without holing it first, didnt think they did it anymore, havent seen it ona new shed in ageS..Back 95-96 all the new sheds in the area around here were roofed with it

Good stuff, think its around 15euro per metre square (price fluctuates per layer size) but yes in my opinion its good stuff. can look ugly but most get over it.
