iPhone 4 on Three in Kildare

Preparing to make the jump to Three in order to get an iPhone 4 with a decent price plan. Seems to be a lot of people in a previous thread having trouble with their 3g coverage in certain areas of the country.

Anyone know if there are any problems with it in the Naas area?

You already have a post asking the same question in that thread. in fact there is a post specific to Kildare about 5 posts above yours in it.

Aye, I thought nobody would probably look at that after I posted it as it seems to be quite an old thread. Didn't spot that Kildare specific post. Will have another look at it now.

    Cheers.

See it now, but that just refers to Maynooth, Celbridge & Leixlip. They're a fair bit away from Naas.

So, still looking to hear from anyone with experience of using an iPhone in the Naas area before I get sucked into an 18 month contract.

Chances are you'll hear good and bad. Before you spend that money, do what i did. Take out their sim-only 30 days rolling contract - If its good sign up for the iPhone, if its no good leave it. the reason I say this is because there are people who say the reception in Cork city and county is dreadful, yet I find it is great. I go up and down to Dublin , Shannon, Waterford a lot and have always found the reception terrific. A pain in the scrotum with the 3G issue, but hopefully they'll have that fixed shortly.

Have used the Iphone3 in Carragh which is a few KM outside Naas on VF and its utter useless, to the point I have to use my old Nokia when I go up there.
Wouldn't touch the iPhone with a barge pole with regards using it as a phone! Great for apps but!
