Voicemail: how do you know who left a voicemail?

Isn't there a number you can ring during the message that tells you who left the message. I have a long and rambling message on my phone at 2 in the morning, absolutely no idea who it is... :confused:

If your with 02 press 22 at during the message and it will ring them back and also call out the number its dialing, however if they have private number on this wont work.

Edit: I think press 9 for VF but afaik it doesnt readback the number.
