I dunno if this means RTE will also lose rights (I'm assuming yes) but BBC4 is about to see their prize import get nicked by SKY who will no doubt pay over the odds just so the BBC cannot respond. :(

    Fcuk off SKY

(please do not stick this in the episode thread as people may read stuff they don't want to)

Sky are after snapping up all of HBO/Showtime/AMC shows. It was announced a couple of months ago.

hmmm...I have mixed feelings about this. Whilst I kinda despise Sky and all that they stand for....years of this amazing show being on at ridiculous times of the night and on inferior stations makes me think that RTE and BBC are getting what they deserve!!

True but there was a hope that MM would remain FTA, alas....

GlitterFairy - true enough. Should be on BBC2 at 9 pm and RTE2 likewise.

I don't think that RTE will lose Mad Men as they still showed Lost when it switched to Sky.

Bit of luck it might make RTE look at their schedules. Why show an excellent show in the middle of the night whilst for example repeats of 'The Restaurant' are shown at peak times......disgrace.
