    Hi All,
I have just regestered a new company and have secured a contract to fulfill sales for large market leading company. I am currently offering all 18 potential employees a car allowance and a fuel card. I need advice on a few things as i feel that I will attract better candidates if i offer a fully paid company car. My question is around Vat and tax deductions

Firstly I am aware I will have to pay 10.75% employer prsi on the allowance and I have allowed for this.

What extras do i have to allow for if I pay for the car lease/ tax and insurance cost? I assume none. can i claim all costs as expense and the vat charges

Fuel Cards, what is the vat rate on fuel and can i claim against petrol and diesel?

any addition advice or pitfalls you can highlight will be very welcome

    kind regards
    James
