    Hi everyone,

basicly... I am about to buy a car. I am just out of my Honda S2000 as it was stolen and I am having trouble to decide what car to get now.
I am looking for something a bit lively and a 5 door car also as baby came along since...
I looked at BMW 1 series and also some Mazdas 3.. Mazda is lovely jap build car but the interior has a massive lack of design.. just such an ''old mens car'' inside and the BMW are lovely inside out but pricey.. could get one 2005 for 11K or the Mazda 2009 for around 11,5K milage nearly the same..
So, I would like to hear your opinion or maybe sugestions what other cars should I look at  as I am really stuck and need to get back on the road asap.
    Thanks a mill

Mazda3 is bigger bigger boot, bigger car smaller engine lacks quality interior.

I would say you would get a newer or even get an mps 3.

Also one is fwd the other rear.

If going for the3 get the bigger engine. 1.4 is a little underpowered.

It's a badge fight after that.

Honda S2000 previous car, looking for something lively, and suggest those two? Unless it's a 130i and a Mazda 3 MPS then neither will be lively at all!

Well.. you mite missed the fact that I have a baby car seat to carry around now and there is not many of 5 doors cars in my price range out there which would suit for that and be lively too!
Am also thinking about the best re-selling value.. I will have to keep it for 2 years at least.. the BMW I saw was 11K but only 24000 miles on it!

There actually are lots of quick 5 door cars out there for €11k ish. What size engine is the BMW? The 116i is very slow.

    Focus ST BAM.

Plenty of 5 door cars to choose from.

I believe I also posted 2, but maybe the rolley eyes made them slower! :)
Golf GTi, Mazda 3 and 6MPS, Mazda RX8, Focus ST, Octavia VRS, Leon Cupra R, Mondeo ST220, Honda Accord Euro R, Civic Type R, Astra OPC... that sort of thing.

Forget about the BMW 1 Series if you're going to have a baby seat. Had one as a rental earlier this year. It was physically impossible to fit the baby seat behind the driver's seat. When we put it behind the passenger seat, my wife (who's not particularly tall) had her knees pressed up against the dash. There's actually more cabin space in her current car, a FIAT 500.

    Also, the Skoda Octavia VRS
