    This is getting a release over here this weekend

    It has kinda gone under the radar in the US I expected it to feature in the awards nomination lists but I guess there is a lot of top notch films and performances about

    I enjoyed it. I thought the performances were great especially Juliette Lewis.

    It is based on a true story
    they left out the part that after his release from prison Kenny died shortly after from a fall

    Just back from a showing, given the source material it should of been a lot more gripping. Great performances from Rockwell, Swank and Juliette Lewis. Deffo one for home viewing.
    can't believe that after all his sister done for him, he ends up dying falling off a wall while taking a short cut to a chinese restaurant! I can see why it doesn't tell you that at the end, it ruins the whole bloody film

    Can't decide whether Hilary Swank is a great actress or has been lucky twice. Seems to play the same character in all her movies. The Academy seems to love her so who am I to argue.

    Good uplifting story but left the cinema thinking it should have been a TV movie.

    The Hurricane is a much better example of this kind of movie.

    Great film but it wasn't as good as it so easily could have been, but for a few silly decisions.

    Like:
    We don't see the moment he gets told that evidence given by his ex-wife has been retracted. Madness! As this is the pivotal reason why he was released.

    Bit of sad news that I only found out on Google'ing later:
    The guy died six months after release from a fall. After all that, 18 years in prison and he falls and dies, what a world eh.

    really good film, Swank is a quality actress.
