    hi everyone
a friend of mine was fitting a pane of glass in rented accomm
it was him that broke the pain to begin with
he did not inform the landlord it was broken
nor that he was fixing a pane of glass in the property
when he fixed it he had an accident with it
he ended up being scarred quite badly(facial wounds)
is he entitled to pursue a case for personal injury?

    thanks.

No. He broke it. He tried to replace it. He cut himself. His fault. Next time he should just contact the landlord and get a qualified person to carry out the repairs needed. Or even just getting a qualified person to fit the glass and pay them would have did the job without any need for contacting the landlord.
