Multiday Contact Lens

I have done a bit of hiking over a few days with glasses and its a pain. Glasses fog up, easily dropped, easily broken by branches etc.

I want to try contacts but all i currently have is specsavers easyvision vusion daily disposables. on a multi day hike my fingers are not in any state to be poking at my eye.

Im wondering if anyone knows of a brand of contacts that I can wear over 2/4 days without removing them? Im happy to put drops in my eyes each morning, but i really dont want to have to remove the contacts for the 2/4 days.

According to the other half who is an Optician there is a two weekly acuvue lens available from J&J which allows for that type of wear i.e occasional overnight wear max two days in a row. This depends on the condition of your eyes. Ask your Optician about fitting a trial pair and explain what you want them for. Good luck

awesome, thanks for the head's up. I know specsavers wont stock such a lens. Can your other half please recommend a good optician in dublin ( or themselves, if they are based in dublin!) who will be able to advise me further on this lens?

We're out in Co. Meath so I think it might be a bit far to travel just for contacts. But thanks for considering us. Pretty much any independant optician will be able to help you out. Just pop in with your prescription, you will have to do a contact lens check before they will give you any that's normal procedure
