Assuming you'd do it legally, why would you want to?

Its just that, im lookng to buy one and i saw this real nice one somewhere, i was thinking of it cause the insurance is cheaper on those car/van vehicles but then i said i didnt want really a boot instead of back seats...just wondering could it be cheaper to change it to a 5seater than actually buying a 5seater

VRT would be due and you would no longer be able to insure it or tax it commercially, all those savings would be gone, along with the actual cost of getting rear seats, seatbelts etc.... and thats provided the conversion wasnt done properly, if it was youd need bolts welded in etc... , after all that there would be no saving in cost over buying the passenger one

yes unfortunately , converting back to passenger is rarely worth it or financially feasible.
