BTEA question

Hi, I recently started a college course and have qualified for Back to Education Allowance. I sent the required letter from the college admissions office last week and am currently waiting on confirmation that I have been switched from Jobseekers allowance to BTEA.

The problem is I was supposed to sign on today and missed it because I was in college all day, does anyone know if this will affect my payment? or will they switch me over anyway?

It's a pretty big flaw in the way they process applications if they don't allow for this situation.

i would phone them to find out as they are prone to making stupid mistakes in the SW office

They don't answer the phones since it's gotten so busy at my local SW office.
